Similar to your car, you’re heating and air conditioning system requires regular maintenance to allow them to perform at their best. Without routine maintenance, including regular filter changes, your heating and cooling systems user more energy (increased power bills), break down more often with higher average repair costs and have a shorter life span.

When you join AC Squad’s Preventive Maintenance we will perform normal maintenance twice a year, one in the spring on the cooling system and again in the fall on the heating system.

Spring & Summer Maintenance

  • Replace filters on cooling equipment (1″ pleated filter)
  • Check condition of belts and pulleys and replace as needed
  • Clean condenser and evaporator coils
  • Check refrigerant charge and inspect for leaks if needed
  • Clear drain lines and pans
  • Check electrical connections
  • Check blower motor/fan operation and adjust if needed
  • Lubricate motors, bearings and other moving parts
  • Check operation of thermostats and other controls
  • Check for adequate air flow

Fall & Winter Maintenance

  • Replace filters on heating equipment (1″ pleated filter)
  • Clear drain lines and pans
  • Check electrical connections
  • Check blower motor/fan operation and adjust if needed
  • Inspect ignition and burner assembly
  • Check gas valve pressures
  • Perform combustion flue venting
  • Lubricate motors, bearings and other moving parts
  • Check operation of thermostats and other controls
  • Inspect heat exchanger
